+1. Although there are a couple of valid points, there's a bunch of opinion statements that don't have any backing to them. Good luck living your life as a judger. As you get older, you might understand that you have to accept people for who they are, regardless. You don't have to associate with people that you don't want to, but you should, at least, accept them for themselves, instead of sitting on a high horse trying to talk down to people. a) marijuana use cannot make anyperson retarded. Mental retardation can only be caused by traumatic injury or organic brain disease.
b) suggesting that there is a causal link between pot and rap music is a groundsless claim and therefore your willingness to make such a suggestion clearly demonstrates your inability to utilize reason.
c) no genre of music can suffer from mental retardation.
d) Pacifist does not equate to coward. Would you consider the Budist monks that set themselves on fire to protest the Vietnam war to be cowards?
e) Not all hippies were drug users, again, your suggestion that they were cannot be proven and your willingness to assert this as fact shows that you lack the ability to employ reason.
f) There is zero documentation to support that drug use negatively impacted the US's war effort in Vietnam. |

I don't want to help turn this thread into an uncalled for debate, but you may like to note that ecstasy, in particular was invented for adults to explore their inner selves. Now you may think that this is twisting the issue, but should we all stop driving because of a number of reckless individuals?
I like to explore my inner self and heve never hurt anyone in doing so. I suspect most things I have done has indirectly hurt an individual in one way or another but I'd be damned if I'm gonna stop buying vegetables. |

Drugs are the same way they lead to other drugs then to stuff that can possibly kill you.

That's a bad comparison.
With the exception of the few reckless drivers that you speak of, driving is perfectly safe. There are speed limits in place, and simple rules that the majority of people follow to stay safe, and that's why the majority of people haven't been mowed down.
But getting rid of the few abusers of drugs who go over-board and OD won't make taking drugs any safer for the rest of us. |

and not all accidents happen cause of reckless drivers.... they are accidents they could happen to anyone
