| I was just fooling around with my turntables now, trying to figure out for this project of mine what tunes I'm gonna use to make a promo CD, and I mixed a couple tracks together and thought "geez, mixing these together is awesome!" (BTW, those tracks were Yoshimoto - Du What U Du (Trentemoller Remix) and Rulers of the Deep - The Last Survivor (Buick Project Main Mix). So I thought, what tunes do you guys like to spin together that create an awesome transition? I'm trying to get more ideas because this CD is primarily gonna be given to people who haven't listened to electronic music before, and I don't want them to think that it's boring. |

Matthew Dekay "Higher Thoughts" transitions really nicely into JASEfos "Do What U Want" (Max Graham's Aftyerhours in Montreal Mix)
It just sounds like they're supposed to be played together... |

I'm not asking about tunes that can be harmonically mixed. I'm talking about tunes that have sweet transitions when you mix them together, regardless of key.
Inertia: I gotta try that Alter Ego - Rocker/Primal Scream - Some Velvet Morning (Luke Fair Dub) some time. I love both tunes to death, I just gotta buy them somewhere :P |

Why does it matter? We're all from different parts of the world, it's not as if we'll be competing with each other based on these mix transitions. |
