Ok so apparently people are gathering around 11 at queens park, the parade/march starts at 2 , the event should last until about 8pm

It's completely illogical that pot remains illegal while *far* more harmful items, from a health and social standpoint, like booze and cigarettes can be bought all over the place.
As for smoking in clubs... that...if I see a petition in your hands, Jay, I'm seizing it...to be used to roll a phatty for everyone :p |

Ban smoking in clubs because there is a ridiculously small chance it may affect my health later on...... but yeah lets roll a phatty!

And i wont get into this is more healthy than that. No one can convince me that smoking a joint is less harmfull than second hand smoke in a well ventilated facility while under the influence of E or booze. |

you can deny that second hand smoke isn't more harmful than pot smoke all you want, but that doesn't make it so...but I guess you know more than doctors and cancer researchers around the world.
one joint has more tar than one cigarette, but that's where the comparison ends. Pot does not get processed the way tobacco does and does not contain the myriad of harmful, carcinogenic substances that cigarettes contain. This is fact...but deny it all you want.
For the record, I don't see anyone suggesting that pot smoking should be legal in clubs...just that it shouldn't be illegal period. I'm fine with keeping bars/clubs ENTIRELY smoke free environments.
btw...well-ventilated??? If I leave a club *reeking* of cigarette smoke...what does that tell you about how well ventilated the club or bar actually is? :rolleyes:
keep your lame cigarette arguments separate from rallies meant to decriminalize pot. |

Yeah. Seriously. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and the ban on smoking in clubs is the greatest thing in the universe.
It's just ing disgusting when you roll out at 8am and you're sweaty as hell and reek like sweat and filth and smoke. |
