i just got my edirol pcrm30 and its wicked for me in reason. im enjoying it alot
but i also want to use it for vsti's, my only available hosts are ableton 3 and fl studio 4.
i can get the keyboard to transmit the note commands, but none of the controller commands.
i can see on the fruity midi signal or however its called that it is receiving midi data, but for some reason, it doesnt forward that data to the vsti's (except for note data).
ableton doesnt respond to the controller changes either...
what am i doing wrong? :conf:

please help, and thanks in advance

Hey. This is as simple as moving the control you want and clicking on a menu option and assigning it a controller.

Step 1: Open your vst. The vst wrapper will come up. Move the knob or slider or control that you are wanting to control with midi.

Step 2: Click on the top left corner of the vst, it should appear to be a little plug (plugin). A drop down box will come down and youll see a subsection titled 'Last Tweaked Controller.' Go down to the subsection and the subsection should roll out. You then notice an option titled 'Link to Controller.' This will allow us to control any of the parameters with various controllers including midi controllers.

Step 3: A little box will then come up. On you PCRM30, you need to decide which knob your going to use and then all you need to do is move it up and down. FLStudio should automaticly detect which controller the knob has been assigned to and will automaticly accept the controller. If this does not work, then you will need to make you you have selected the correct input port on the vst (found in the upper left hand corner of the wrapper in green numerals).

I hope this helped :).

Cheers,
Zac
