Mauro Picotto - Lizard (Megavoices Mix)

its the only track that i always seem to have trouble with, especially mixing out of it....even though im a pretty competent mixer/dj...unless mabye it is actually beatmatched...but just sounds out of sync....because of that warped synth at the end of the track...

i was listening to an oakie set from gatecrasher in 99' where he mixes from lizard into gull....he completly screwed it up cos it sounded like a lawnmower going over rocks.

any other people have any particular tracks u find trouble mixing in or out of?

Reflekt - Need to feel Loved (Original Mix)
Mixing in is no problem, but mixing out always gives me trouble.

Lostep - Burma.

The drums turn into a big mess towards the end and it's just a nightmare to mix anything into that.

I really dont like mixing Armins' 24
Cru54d3r
Ingo And Eseni DJ - Scare Tactics
Luke Terry

there is an altitude track i have which changed pitch lol, always fun

i didn't like mixing push - the legacy as the hole was too big and skipped so i stuck it on cd and sorted that out :)

never used to like mixing the cosmic gate mix of dreams because you had to get it spot on with all the hats at the start combined with the intro being really short. doesn't bother me anymore now, not that i can imagine normally playing it anymore!

every time one of these is posted I put burma....but now I can put the killers - mr. brightside (zee jocque lu cont remix).

remember not all tracks are always at a constant bpm. some tracks vary by a little bit which may cause added difficulty while in the mix.

Tilt - The World Doesn't Know (Ozgur Can Main Mix)

Intro is really weird. Hard to pinpoint the beats.

Generally, constant BPM is a rule. Otherwise the track will end up collecting dust.

let me clarify what i meant. some tracks that i own actually have timing issues especially with heavily sampled tracks (such as house) which can cause varying bpms.

basically the measures start a tad bit early or a tad bit late.

cosmic - freefall....the panning effect thats pretty apparent towards the end seems to get me all confused...
