Lord Almighty. Anyone who says this is an easy task is full of . I never thought picking a producer/dj name would be so darn tough. Its sometimes amazing how the simplist names are the best names. Simple words like "Globe" can be effective producer names.
Im still stuck in the process of getting a name. All minimalistic names. I cannot stand huge names which i used to have until i just carried away from that direction. I produce minimalistic trance/industrial and chillout. Still thinking of which suits a better home, here are my ideas:
minus
lustre
atmosphere
lustre and minus being my favorite. probably cheesy as hell but theyre ideas. Anyone wanna help out hehe :p |

Nice generalization. Using your real name is as cool as it gets, IMO, and that's a pretty simple choice. |

| Using your real name is great if you have a good name. My name is just bad. So im looking for an alias sorta thing. |

i have the same dilemma. im thinking about just using my own initials, LRC, but it doesnt sound that fulfilling to me. I could use my own full name, but again, its just not very catchy: Leon Robert Campbell.
One ive thought of using alot is 'Paid Program'. Everynight, i can hardly sleep, and thats all i see on tv. It does have some meaning to me, and there is currently noone named that. Still not sure though. Ive also thought of using my initials, but pronouncing the phonetics like "Lerk". Or mabye i could just go with 'Lerk'.
Quite the dilemma...:( :o :happy2: |

| I can't decide whether to use Aquila (which I believe may have already been used before), or my middle name, Dave Marshall (Matt doesn't seem to fit well with Marshall). |

jupiterone I think you should do what Envio did:
| quote: | Where does the name Envio come from?
One year ago when I made my first really massive track, I tried to figure out a catchy name to go with it. I just wrote things randomly on a paper until I ended up with something that looked good and suddenly I had the word/name "ENVIO" on the paper. I liked the name so much, I decided to let it become my new artistname! |

that's what I did ^^ and I ended up with a good name (at least that's what I think :)) |
