get a q-tip and put a load of rubbing alcohol on it , then run the connections on the game cart then put it in and pull it out many times and then re wipe the connectors untill there is no black on the q-tip.

That WILL fix it , but make sure you clean the rest of your games before putting them in otherwise you will just put the nasty back into the system.


There are also some games that will not come on if a rumble pak is inserted. Killer instict gold is one of them.

The old school method of blowing inside the systm/cart always worked for me.

GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, SSB, Mario Parties, etc. still hold up today. Damn, the memories ... :eek:

That rusts the metal pieces on the inside, which is one of the reasons my Goldeneye cardridge didn't work.
