how would one go about running monitors plus a 3 piece speaker system when i've only got 2 xlr out on my dn-x1500?
say for example i want my alesis monitors for monitoring and then hook up an additional 2 monitors and subwoofer for a gig. how in the would i do this? i've got both the xlr outputs on my dn-x1500 hogged by the alesis monitors, so where would i hookup the additional speakers since they also require xlr? do they make some sort of splitter so you can have additional xlr out?
the answer's probably quite simple, but i've been confounded about this... |

Are you telling me that that dn-x1500 mixer, doesn't offer monitor
or booth outputs, so you can buy an RCA to XLR cable? |

You can get the cable at any Guitar Center. Just tell them
you need XLR (Male/Female whatever your speakers take) to
RCA cable. |

usually pro audio stuff will have outs too, so for example, you'd go into the sub first, then, out the crossovers to the mains and monitors, which may also have outs, making a chain.
the really pro way to do it is your main out into a multi channel mixing board with multiple outs, but of course, then you need a mixing board. |

| are the booth outputs on the denon balanced? is so, you will want balanced rca's as an output for them. You can also save a bit of $$ if you get your cables online. |
