Luna Park vs PPK ....?

Hey peeps.!! Just wondering.... I have 2 songs that sound almost similar.... Luna Park - Space Melody & PPK - Ressurection(Space mx)
which version do you prefer?? I think i favor the Luna Park.... 'cause it's just more upbeat... kinda progressive.. but sweet ass bassline!!:eek: |

| I've always thought that PPK is a mix of luna park and some other song. But since Dj Stilez produced it, he might be right. Although he himself is confused about some Russian verses in it. No there isnt any:stongue: |

| I think the PPK is better, although the Luna Park has a better buildup, I don't like when the guy says 'Space Melody', it ruins it! But yeah this is the wrong thread for this.. heh heh |

| PPK - Resurrection is my choice... it's the original, the Luna Park is a bite, a rip off, so PPK made 1999, Luna made 2001... therefore i can't support Luna... if it were a remix then it would be cool but i'm all for PPK. Space Melody... UHHMmm NOPE!!!! |

| Are they even aloud to do that though? They must've gotten permision, because you can't just steal a melody like that! Like it's almost exactly the same!! |

| Well, i'm pretty sure that both of them didn't actually invent that melody that they use. I'm almost 100% sure that it's a sample or they played themselves to get a different sound out of it, but took it from one of those experimental songs that was probably made years ago, because i almost certain that I heard that sample before from an experimental group's cd about 4 or 5 years ago. That's why both of them could probably use it. But as far as I'm concerned, if someone made an amazing trance song, you should never try to duplicate and call it your own. |

Melody wise...
Both songs 'borrowed' the melody, but its much more closer to PPK as they are Russian, and the melody was first heard when Yuri Gagarin flew into space, apparently it was played in the Shuttle (or so the legend goes)
However the fact that the songs sound EXACTLY the same, and PPK released it 2-3 years ago and Luna Park just now speaks for itself. I will admit that Space melody sounds better, but still, they had a long time to work on it :whip:, and didn't have to start from scratch, unlike PPK. So knowing that PPK has the ORIGINAL version and spent a whole month working on it, i prefer PPK :) |

| I just D/l the new Dream Dance vol 22 ALBUM, and guess what i saw there? A rmx of Luna Park - Space Melody!!! From what i know all DD volumes are popular with people who like trance, dance of house. So the a lot of ppl will hear this song, and im sure it will be new for most of them. They will never even know who the originals creaters were, and if they hear PPK, they're going to thing that PPK are the ones who ripped LUNA PARK off...It just makes me mad, that Luna Park will get all of the credit for a great song they didn't make...:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :mad: |
