No Sasha Review??? (pg. 2)

sasha himself is amazing to see right now, with his ableton controller....he's so into what he's doing, and his sets are definitely proving it. sasha was many smiles all night long, ending with a breaks song with the classic "i feel love i feel love i feel love" vocals from donna summers thrown on it. the last bit of his set, mostly ambient uplifting breaks was great.
and as mentioned earlier, he played a lot of classic sasha style tracks as well, highly progressive but reworked into the moment as well as his current electro housey genre crossing sound.. |

i thought musically both sasha and wink were good. yes, wink did break sasha's flow, but i love acid and any shape and form of it makes me smile. unfortunately, the crowd, which sucked to begin with, wasn't feeling it and it was a definite damper on the party mood.
sasha's first two hour set was really beat driven and techy, which i presume was his prep for wink, but it just wasn't doing it for me. the tag team was cool. the fact that they were able to play together to that level for about three hours kinda proves those who think sasha is preprogramming his gigs wrong. definitely different sounds than previous fundacion nights. wasn't quite what i was hoping for friday night, but still really well done. |

dammit i knew i should have gone on March 4th or whenever JZ was there last...:( the next time im aware of JZ being in a club at all is Miami on July 2nd!!! :P i didnt get a chance to see him during WMC at ALL!!! this f0ckin sux |

i was hehehe. I meant, the last time i actually DANCED to his music (which was July 16 at Crobar). I was soo crunked I don't remember much except that it was a kickass party the whole day, sun, sand and the smell of the ocean...and that i was just surrounded by a great vibe which involved great music, TAs and surrounded by pitchers of mojitos that seemed to be passed around all day. lols.
i do have his set from Nikki Beach and damns i wish i HAD been sober. ahah. |

LoL yea mojitos are awesome, i was too cheap for drinks :p but i did get a pic with him as u probably saw :D |
