Hey Guys,
This s a simple question really for all vinyl buyers out there.
I am, just in the process of starting up a new trance / prog-trance label and have had mixed reviews on this subject.
How many tracks would you prefer to have on a single vinyl?
I do not mean how many mixes in total of a single track spread across many vinyls, i'm talk about a single peace of plastic :D
1. Single Sided Vinyl
2. Double Sided Vinyl
3. A-Side = 1 Track & B-Side = 2 Tracks
4. 2 Tracks on both sides
Thanks
Chris

| If you had a clue, you'd know what would turn out best. ;) Ask any vinyl masterer. |

yep. unless the tracks are shorter than 5 minutes, which gives pretty much no reason not to include more music on it. |

i hate records that have two songs on the same side.. it'll continue onto the next song while you still have the fader up :whip: :p |

The information i have been given is that as long as the total of both mixes is less than 14 minutes then the quality is not effected.
So therefore it is just a matter of DJ preference.... hence this thread!!! |

| For the most part, two. Three is fine, though. |

4. 2 tracks on both sides.
Fairly common with techno though. No need for epic floating journey-building storytelling going-on-into-eternity tracks. |

| The sounds quality is better with one song per side. They just seem to be a bit louder and brighter. |
