Question on buying trance mp3's

I plead ignorant on the case, because I've never bought singles online unless they are vinyls, but, do you get to sample the track before you download them? Always?
What if there's a track I really like, and I want to get a certain remix of that track, but I'm not sure which remix it is, is it always possible to listen before you buy? I don't need to know exactly what I'm looking for before I buy do I?
Like I said, I'm used to buying vinyls, I already know what I'm looking for when it comes to that.

| Every digital music store has sample clips of the tracks. From my experience, most are about 2 minutes in length, so that should give you a pretty good indication of what you are getting. |
