Whatever alleged neglect of baby boomers that occurred last year during Summerfest seems to have been corrected.
Following a string of boomer-centric Marcus Amphitheater bookings to date, Summerfest announced Thursday another lineup to please boomers that includes David Lee Roth, Styx and the Doobie Brothers on the newly renamed Potawatomi Classic Rock Stage.
What was formerly the North Shore Landing will now host headliners Roth on July 2 and Dickey Betts, formerly a guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band, on July 9.
Also scheduled are: the Doobie Brothers on June 30; America on July 1; Steve Winwood on July 3; John Waite on July 4; Styx on July 5; Eddie Money on July 6; Night Ranger on July 7; and Whitesnake on July 8. The headliner for July 10 was not released.

Although not technically EDM, they do play live House and I really like those guys.... |
