I'm really surprised how many people are taking this thread seriously, especially you, Zeiter.

From my first post:

Most of this is tongue-in-cheek so don't start flaming me.

It's all tongue-in-cheek, guys. Listen, I'd be the first to admit that tiesto is ok, I'm simply playing up on his hype and his marketing team.

I really don't appreciate the people who incenuate that I'm immature for bashing tijs, because as I mentioned earlier, it's all tongue-in-cheek. Zeiter, man, I figured you'd pick up the humour in all this. :X

i guess happens...

Lol guess that backfired Marcus.

The hell is "tongue-in-cheek" anyway, I've never heard that in my life.

This funny-sounding expression indicates that someone just told a joke or isn't being serious! If someone says something "tongue-in-cheek," he or she is usually kidding.

It's believed that this saying was created by an English humorist in the 1800s. Most people have difficulty saying anything with their tongue in their cheek. But some people actually do stick their tongue against the inside of their cheek after saying a joke to show that they're only kidding.

All dj ratings are bullsh.. It's all marketing. Tiesto sells, big crowds. Lots of people don't know what trance is, know Tiesto. All because it's a comercialized name, therefore comercial dj and that's why there is a big change in his music. When music goes comercial, things start to suck. I remember the old stuff, magik 6.. used to be grate stuff. But now, i wont even give his set a try, doesnt worth my time listening to.

first hes not that bad....

second... music is commercial because of people listening to it... it isnt when you make the track

Call on Me and Flashdance werent commercial at all at the beggining... now it just sounds like crap cuz people play it too much...

we calL it commercial stuff cuz WE (a little group) know and have nothin else to do then creating/listening/mixing music... but people dont get tired of earing the same tracks in clubs

exemple: hip hop

i also remeber starsailor being VERY underground and dark at some point...

now... it just plays everywhere... all the time

and guess who are the guy introducing people to those track that werent known before...

Daniel Desnoyers / Mc Mario / Benny Benassi etc
FunKenLouis
we all hate those tracks... but still.. everyone gets caught singing when its on

lol
