Well I am just gonna post a short review on this here.
I was at the Docks last night for this event. After being at System last night, tonight was a huge difference. We got to the Docks around midnight expecting the place to be packed.. It was actually rather empty. There were maybe about 400 people tops there.. it was very underpromoted for this event cuz I think it would have gotten more people out then were actually there!
But I had never seen Derrick Carter or Dj Sneak.. both played amazing sets, Derrick more of a harder house beat and Sneak's sound was just more uplifting. Although the crowd that was out was very excited and full of energy.. it was great!
It was nice after being at system last night and the Docks tonight to have that change of scenory and atmosphere, but now back to Guv for the following weekend.. :D |

good luck on that one :eek: .......mine is 2 hours away so I can hide/fake the sketch with a phone call.....:D |

Got there around 1130 expecting the place to be packed but it was empty. It stayed empty for about two hours and then people started showing up but it still seemed rather empty. Derrick Carter played some amazing tracks and sprayed his music all over the crowd dancing below the dj booth.
It was totally under promoted. This has to be the first ever Derrick Carter party that was empty. But I had a great time nevertheless. |
