p.s. I'm not trying to say that all asians look the same, so no offense. I'm actually cracking jokes at the fact that so many non-asians say that all asians look the same.

OH GOD, now this thread makes me think the time's I've seen Mark for 9 hours. Without a doubt, the purest form of bliss with Trance music :)
Now I wanna go back!!!

In al honesty though its a shame that even jokingly this thread turned into something about drugs because mark would (and has already been) the first person who will tell you that the single most important part of club culture is the music.

i think many people forget that sometimes

I first started partying when I was 17. I had never touched a pill in my life until I was 19 (almost 20), and even then I don't do it at every party. Not many people can say they got into the music before the drugs. I've seen Mark Oliver, Max Graham (4+ times), Paul Oakenfold (2x), Sasha and Digweed, Jimmy Van M, Sandra Collins, BT(2x), Luke Fair, James Holden(2x), Ferry Corsten, Hybrid, Dave Seaman (2x), Chable, Grayarea and many more completely SOBER. You don't have to tell me it's all about the music, believe me I know. The jokes I made in this thread are not making fun of the music at all (except for that Holden crack), just the club which undoubtedly caters to the Toronto drug scene.

Trust me man, way less than half the people at guv have gotten into the music before they've gotten into the drugs. ALOT of people have fallen in love with the music as a result of the drugs. People usually get into this scene in their "drug experimental" stage of life.

The whole fact of the matter is, and I'm not gonna sugar coat this scene, is that drugs DO fuel the party. There's no denying it.

so when somebody asks a newb to the scene, they ask them "hey common out and do some fancy drugs?" or...."hey come on out, there is a great DJ playing sat night, should be some good tunage"

which one did you hear? i really hope its the latter.
