Ok so. Ive had cubase for 1 year, reinstalled windwos now just reinstalled cubase and i get this error "samplerate could not be set. This may be due to the sampleclock being set to external sync."
And i have in device panel everything in the VST multitrack set to my sound card and internal sync. I dont get it. I reinstalled twice.
i got a soundblaster augidy 2 zs platinum.
Anyone like to help me? |

I dont have a audigidy but is there a controll panle that you can open for the audigidy to the the sample rate to a fixed setting? if so do it..and just keep it at 48000,16bit...with that card I would even consider keeping it at 44,100 and 16, but 48 is good. now once you have set the sample rate in there go to your cubase device setup and set the clock settings accordingly. |

You know? That happened to me when I had another audio program opened and it was using the ASIO drivers. I opened Cubase and it gave me that message. So I closed the program (don't remember which one) and restarted Cubase just fine. |

this is litteraly strange. i changed it to 48, it was at 48 to being with in the AudioHQ control panel for my SB. Went back to cubase..dont get the message but the sound still wont work. go out change to 96. go back no error..sound doesnt work. and back to 48 and wont work i have 5 thigns i can choose in the VST multitrack ASIO driver setup.
ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver
ASIO Multimedia Driver
Creative ASIO
SB Audigy 2 ZS 24/96 [B800]
SB Audigy 2 ZS [B800]
i tried them all and it wont work at all. i dont get it. |
