Do high schools exist in Europe or is it all private schools.

I'm just curious.

EDIT - At first I'm like WTF is with this guy, but then I spotted the flag, and it all made sense.

just kidding. of course we have highschools. like there are american schools and they run an american highschool diploma so its pretty much the same as if you were in the states. AP classes, national honour society etc can be found in most "american schools".

public schools are like american i guess as well but on a state made diploma. in spain they have the "selectividad" and the equivalent are the "gcse" or the "a tests" or soemthing like that in england. its just differnet in each country but obviously we have schools.

Okay...:)

Next question... Are there dances or proms late in the year and do they play a considerable amount of trance music?

Yes and we all sit around drinkng tea whilst twiddling our handle bar moustaches

from 5-10 we are in primary school
from 11-16 we are in high school
from 16-18/19 some people got to college
from 20-24 some people go uni.

at the end of high school we had a prom which was got pissed and heckled the head whilst he was doing his goodbye and good luck speech.

In Scotland we don't bother with college (unless you'll looking to get a BTEC in Hairdressing or some BS "IT" stuff, seriously though trades tend to get HNCs and HNDs at emm). I started uni at 17 and could of started it the year before (but our uni takes 4 years for hons 5 for masters).

No sixth form college for us.
