that's great :) if the albums anything as diverse as symsonic was, i'll be buying it immediately :) still love the 2nd disc (dvd) on symsonic too, especially during symsonic itself and black snow :) |

i really like top gear, love the machine sounds in there, nice and original. Could do with some added techier percussion tho as the high end sounds a bit flat as it is, so benno and piet throw in some extra percussion to give it a little more drive pls :p
Opus 17 is pretty nice too. obviously sounds like the orange theme but nice to see they have stayed clear of a saw for a lead on it which would have been all too easy.
all in all they are both great tracks and its nice to see some of the bigger names in the business not being afraid to ditch their tried and tested sounds and go with something new. |

Yea - read the info on the label mate (if you have the record) and it does mention Piet/Benno contributed to the tune! :-)
Personally - I love the new techy sound Rank1 have produced, its different and a step forward - people just don;'t like change I guess :-) |

Top Gear is great.
Opus 17 sounds too much like a rehash of Orange Theme. |

Top Gear is a great experiment...I think it's an acquired taste, I'll admit it's hard to like. But I do think it's really cool.
Opus 17 is forgettable but it's quite nice too. |
