its economically sound from the promters pov. see the big name djs tend to play on the weeekends. so during the week they're usually free...or cost less money.
so liquified figures "well get digweed for less money but people will still come because its digweed" and bang maximum profit in the middle of the week. plus less weirdos come out on a tuesday or wednesday...only ppl that know what's up |

i dont think its too far...i'm not super familiar with LA. but if memory serves me correct...my girlfriend got a room at the standard downtown after Giant Village on NYE and that was right around where The Mayan is |
