Trouble with Winamp

| So im having trouble with winamp and when i try to uninstall it deletes all the files except winamp.exe it says it cannot delete it cause of some thing called 'cyclic redundancy check' wtf is that? now i cant get rid of that file, cant uninstall it and cant open winamp..what do i do? |

| Have you tried re-installing winamp and overwrite the existing directory? when I was extracting stuff from my CD that was data a while back, an .mp3 couldnt be retrieved from the CD, giving me that error. In any case, try to re-install it. |

| Try deleting it through Command Prompt/MS-DOS. |

| CRC is an error checking algorithim. it looks like the program was uninstalled incorrectly. try the above method of installing and overwriting the directory and then uninstalling once again. |

it wont let me install it again, i tried that again..
how do u delete it doing the ms-dos thing? step by step? |
