| ...that special that aired on FOX (Channel 5 in NY) about a decade ago on Halloween? It was basically one where they tried to make everything seem extremely realistic. The only thing I remember specifically was that they were "fake reporting" as if there was a comet heading for Earth and it would hit within a few minutes, causing the destruction of the planet. Only reason I remember this is because my grandmother called the house in the biggest fright EVER since she "accidently" tuned in in the middle of it. Didn't know it was fake. :stongue: |

| No I dont remember but I think Smokeape remebers when War of the Worlds aired on the radio & had a similar effect. |

I recall... the story as I remember was as follows:
A meteor was headed for earth. Everyone was in a panic. Then more meteors were coming, and then the "movie" ended with the entire earth about to be demolished by a ton of meteors which turned out to have been sent by aliens.
