My Event Rules!!!! - The first competition for promoters!

Have you ever wanted to throw your own party or run your own event? Better still throw your own party at someone else’s expense!

Well Josh and friends Presents is giving you the chance to do just that.

It’s the first ever competition for promoters. It’s ………..



A competition, where alongside 12 other finalist, you have the chance to coordinate and plan your dream event funded by us!

Competing for the ultimate prize: To become a permanent event manager for Josh and Friends Presents. Running your dream event on a regular basis! Plus, of course, a range of other prizes.

All you need to do is be creative!! All proposal’s no matter how ‘out-there’ will be considered, so use you imagination! All musical genre’s are welcome.

You will be provided with a venue, production, staff and funds. The rest is up to you!

Yes that is the prize. You get paid to run your dream event. The full list of prizes will be up on the website shortly. The prize list does include:


Running your own event and being paid to do it!
3D World advertising voucher

Graphic art voucher
Numerous editorial interviews with the winner

well the innovator, pioneer, spiritual leader Joshua Van Aalst does it again I must say. Interesting marketing approach, and credit where its due, I admit that this idea has merit (no piss taking intended). However, Im sure working under helm of Father Josh, you could be in for alot more than you bargained:

Venue: ARQ. I think you've pretty much 'thettled' on the type of crowd you want at your party.

Production: needs to be 'out there' (recurring themes associated with 'josh and friends productions') to get a look in.

Staff: guys in tight singlet tops (bar staff at ARQ)

Funds: 'allocated funding' means you pay your djs a total of $0.00.

In other words, the entire purpose of this competition is to have another 'A Night of Trance', where the 'promoter' ultimately answers to his holiness and critical 'secret meeting' decisions are made by no other.
