Ok, ok, let me rephrase this (mind the added []):
Don't sweat it, D-T; the exact same phrase crossed my mind while writing my previous post
Hey, ideal4u10, I just noticed your TA in training status, let me be your mentor for today :toothless
First of all, the search-buton is vital, it is key to this whole forum, this is a trance database in many respects.
Having said that, you are likely to enjoy other [M.I.K.E.-productions (mind the CAPS) such as:
Solar Factor - No Return
SFX - Makes It Different (disputable, but I love it)]
[the DJ Vincenzo - Airwave production
Kompressor - Black Onyx (The Green Martian Remix)]
[and the DJ Choose & F production
That Mucho - Don't Snare At Me]
Track these down if they're new to you and give them a go ;)
I admit, I've been posting way too little posts here; but for ultra-reliable M.I.K.E.-info: T.O.R., Soliplex, me & other BeTA's are the norm :D; don't mind my posting this, my replying in the BeTA-'Drunk'-thread explains a lot ;) |
The one thing that Airwave, DJ Choose & F and M.I.K.E have in common, absolutely nothing. |

lol, Simcut, I am dying to know what line of reasoning made you conclude that from my post :). I love M.I.K.E.
Blue., agreed, but the tracks themselves are fairly similar in style imo, which is why I recommended them. That's all.
Excuse the arrogance in my previous posts :whip: :( |

M.I.K.E. vs. J00F - Ice Cream (J00f Remix)
Jones and Stephenson - First Rebirth (Liquid Overdose Remix)
These are the two songs that got me diggin M.I.K.E. Definitely one of the best producers out there. Don't think that I care much for his newer stuff, though... |

Big M.I.K.E. fan here...
I still love most of the stuff he's put out in the last two years (with the exception of the Active Sight tunes, which I thought were pretty average and boring), he doesn't really make tunes like Strange World, Till We Meet Again, Silver Bath etc that make all the hairs on your neck stand up these days, but to me M.I.K.E. still always means quality :) |

MIKE's tracks all sound exactly the same. You can tell a MIKE production from a mile off. He puts out more productions under more alises than anyone else on the planet, but he's not fooling anyone because his entire discography is based around one sound.
And I'm sure some MIKEcracker is going to say "you're listening to the wrong stuff, check out his work under Alias X and then see". |

see the thing is, i think 2 + 2 = 5, i can get that answer from a mile off because i'm so clever, mathematicians aren't fooling me!
however I'm sure someone is going to come along and say the answer is 4. |

They're usually the guys who have MIKE crap plastered on their sig and avatar too. Strange how nobody else has heard these innovative tunes isn't it? And if MIKE really does do something different, why is it under the most obscure alias? Is it because the cash rolls in nicely for his unadventurous stuff, so why bother promoting anything that is risky? Or because it doesn't actually exist? |

That's exactly how I see it. I see his Push stuff as being very impressive however most of his other stuff like under his M.I.K.E guise is pretty boring. A few Solar Factor tunes are great though. |
