There are two versions of Cuttooth. There is some sort of B-Side version that was on the Knives Out Single CD and another. Are you talking about the more upbeat, faster version?

Great song anyhow...

maybe bith songs are about the same thing...?

and hey man, everything from radiohead is great! :)

Well, myxamatosis is off of hail to the theif, which Thom Yorke himself has referred to as "Ok Computer 2" He discussed in an interview that it was basicly the same sort of album as Ok Computer, and he didn't like that, but felt it was needed to be done. One of the guys who worked in recording HTTT stated that alot of the tracks on that album recycle bits from old albums, and random unfinished tracks, so this could explain why you see these lyrics reused.

Thom stated that "Ok Computer 2" (Hail To The Theif) is something he felt needed to be done, but will never be done again, he says they will never repeat themselves again.

I'm guessing the reason he calls it Ok Computer 2, is because it has had the media storm that Ok Computer 2 had, and its tracks, and cd structure are similar in a few ways. I would interpret that when he says he feels it needed to be done, he means that Ok computer 2 attracted alot of fans, and then they took them for a ride, with more experimental or abstract albums such as Kid A and Amnesiac, again. Hail to the Theif has attracted alot of new fans, and regained alot of lost fans. So I can only assume the reason he felt it needed to be done is so that they can once again go on to releasing more albums that will surprise their fans like Kid A, and Amnesiac did.

It was by far the best interview I had read, and I read it many times, but it was around the release date of HTTT, and it was on a rather low profile site, so I cant for the life of me relocate it.

AH HA!!!

I knew there were some traces of familiarity in HTTT!

I dont know what Thom was worried about though... when I first heard
"There There" I was extremely excited because, as you know, every single song that they have made is original. "There There" and several other tracks on HTTT are necessary in my opinion. Especially "Backdrifts".

"Backdrifts" is the song that freaks me out the most... It's like I had heard something like that before, but at the same time, I hadn't. Backdrifts was definitely necessary (and original). So I dont know what the prob is.

They've got 8 albums full of original tunes that sound great.

That's quite an achievement if u ask me ;)
