| alright!!! All hands down to PvD!!!! I cant believe i was talking to him. i am so damn surprised. i cant believe he took my CAMERA and took a picture of me!!! i cant believe he ing signed a autograph. i cant believe i was talking to him what tracks he should play next. i cant believe he played all the tracks i requested. i cant believe this !!!! its all a damn ing dream to me! basically i cant believe i was ing TALKING TO HIM THE WHOLE TIME!! what a ing coo ass guy!!!:) |

| yeah man. PvD rocked the DC Armory...So awesome you got to talk to the guy. Always been a goal of mine to see this guy spin!!! Well til i get a chance to see him, Politics of Dancing will have to do... hehe... Glad you had fun man... I WANNA SEE PvD!!!!!!! |

Hey bro, no problem, you were already in the front so I figured you could make more use of it than me. Paul van Dyk was excellent, he seemed so cool and so professional, just relaxed, he knew exactly what he was doing. I thought he was off the hook, can't believe he played Aeon - Masterpiece of Emotion, I love that song. I went insane when he dropped Connector, damn. Congrats on being his favorite fan of the night Amit!

Saw PvD last night @ the Armory, was not real impressed.
Some of you say that PvD doesn't interact with the crowd -- well, he did a little, that night; he often smiled and even waved his hands before each climax. But there was something wrong with the vibe and I thought his track selection was lackluster :confused:
There was a girl with me who didn't know a whole lot about trance, she'd just heard a few of PvD's MP3's (like "We are alive", etc.) and was excited to see him... but that set probably bore little resemblance to her expectations. |

Anyone who was the Armory last night witnessed and heard an amazing set once again from simply the best dj in the world:
Eugene, obviously the vibe may have beem a bit lackluster because so many people were "cracked out" and the venue so large, but I think his set was well fit for a "rave" of that caliber, just my opinion..
AMIT- thanks for the pen, i was the one wearing the VANDIT shirt screaming along with you and talkin to him just like you were...its funny, all the tracks you were writing, im sure he was going to drop them anyway, but its amazing how he actually took time out to read what we were writing to him ...nice to meet you and i hope you realize that, even though your young, your very lucky to be that up-front with dj's like van DYK already...
Anyway, he dropped some classic tunes like Face to Face, Another Way, Vega, Out There, and a new remix of Alibi-Eternity that was beautiful....i could sit here and talk about van Dyk all night...
I tried to get him to wear my Twilo shirt also but i think he would rather stay neutral and wear his white t-shirt..when i get a chance, i'll post ALL the pics i took of him and the other dj's ..peace. |
