Tattoo?

Alright, so I am SERIOUSLY considering getting one, and I have an idea for one completely thought out.
I wanted to ask those of you who have gotten tattoo's, some questions...
This one is directed particularily to other women; which body part do you suggest getting it?
I don't want it on my stomach or breasts, mainly because those can drastically change and I don't want a nasty stretched tattoo.
My main idea at the moment is the small of my back. I think this would be a good spot for several reasons:
- Not easily changed. Doesn't stretch a lot, (pregnancy, aging.)
- Easy to hide with pants if near relatives or other "important" people, aka boss' or what not.
- I don't have to see it EVERY day, therefore lessening the chance of me tiring of it.
- Somewhat "sexy"
I would also like to know about things I should look for in a parlour? Are there any health concerns I should be sure to look for? Should they be certified by something? I mean, I know what general hygiene should be like, but are there any specifics?
Are there any colours I should avoid having in my tattoo? Any colours that fade very quickly?

| If i were you i'd consider getting it on the ankle. First of all, i think it's pretty sexy when a girl has a small tattoo on the ankle, making it somewhat inconspicuous. Secondly, if you ever have a change of heart and realized you abominate the tattoo, since it's on your ankle it shouldn't really incommode you in that you'd usually be wearing a sock over it anyway, whereas if it were on your back you'd probly notice it every day, willy-nilly. |

| the small of the back and the ankle are so predictable though.. .every chick who has a tattoo has it there. if you're getting a tattoo because it's "original" or "creative" then please stay away from these areas. i suggest having a small one on the back of your neck. no joke. |

Small of the back - not as easy to hide as you think, esp. when you bend down to pick up something and your're wearing jeans and a small top.
ankle - looks trashy or makes you look slutty. (unless you're going for this)
maybe the front of the pelvis above and right below the panty line and right above the pubes. only your significant other will see it and its sexy. you're fair skinned so colors will look fine like blues and purples etc. |

I'd recommend getting your first one on the ankle (i have mine there). It's easier to take care of as a first tattoo, just as invisible, and a lot of guys find it really sexy!
Also a lot less painful than the lower back, considering that would be on your spine (ouch!). If you want to get another one on your lower back after then go for it, but at least you'll know how to care for it better, and how much more careful you'll need to be with it. |

And i suppose having a tattoo right above your pubes does not make you look slutty or trashy? :wtf: :rolleyes: |
