If I dont run I usually just take it. I was breaking the law and they caught me, no reason to give them grief.

haha i've been pulled over twice, once for making an illegal U-turn, and once for speeding (i was doing 90 in a 75 across Alligator Alley which is like a dead highway most of the time that goes east to west coast of florida...wasn't like i was in traffic).

anway, i just went with it. i'm too proud to put on some dumb show and beg and all that . i'm just like, "yea i know sorry officer, i was in a hurry...*thinks* just gimme my ing ticket and go away pig"

i speed in traffic and drive very aggresively all the time, and i have amazing luck w/ cops. i'll be zippin down a major road doing like 15 miles over and a cop will pass me and i'm like, "oh " and i slow down, but they always just keep going...i just never get pulled over:D

2 times in my 8 years of driving is pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

I can't even begin to imagine the number of tickets that would be issued in the US if that policy was put into place.

I once got pulled over about a week after I passed my driving test. At first I was polite as can be as I wasn't quite sure what I had done wrong and didn't want to make matters worse. But after it became apparent i'd been pulled over for all I got a bit arsey back, concluding with the request of his name and badge number. Less than 20 seconds later I was back on the road. er.

They dont do it because car companies and the like pay for it not to happen. If the government actually wanted to stop speeding theyd put cameras on the freeways that zapped and mailed you a ticket as soon as you broke 60. Thats when people stop buying Vipers and Vettes and stuff.

If you think its conspiracy they actually sent people over in Britain to lobby for the widening and straightening of English roads with the idea that American cars would sell better in that situation ^^

clever folk over there. They also bought all public transport in the 30s (Ford, GM, Firestone, and petro companies like Texaco) and dismantled them so people would have to use cars. They got caught, found guilty, and were charged 1000 dollars each!

i'm always speeding also. I think it's sooooo0 funny that your speeding and just notice a cop, or pass him while he's hidden and then SLAM on the brakes back down to the posted speed limit. hahaa. Sometimes I just can't get myself to do it, it just seems so obvious.

One time, I got pulled over speeding, while following a friend  Anyways, I'm 20 years old. The officer asked what I was in such a hurry for. I told him I had to make curfew at home and was going to be late. He told me to leave to make it on time and drive safe :stongue:
