Whatever man, I could have had it just as easily as anyone else, I just chose to wait.

Sorry, man. I didn't mean to infer anything against you not downloading it. Just mentioning the effects of a year old thread on my mind before finally realizing enough to check the dates on the posts. My bad... |

No worries m8 -- I actually did get the AVI for this a while back, but decided I'd rather wait to see it in it's best quality, on a pretty nice sound system. :)

Definitely a gorgeous film... Storyline was OK, but clearly trying to be a little too much like a video game with all the cut scenes, and none of the game. I really dug it, but I'd doubt whether or not people who aren't fans of the series would get into it. A couple things I wondered while watching it:
- Who the is Denzel? :wtf:
- I'm assuming it's because the film was made in Japan, but I wondered (note, I wasn't bothered by this, just thought it was odd) why they seemed to decide to change the more European featured character models from the game to character models with more Asian characteristics.
- The 3 "Remnants" seemed more like irritating school yard bullies than genuine enemies.
All in all, i was very satisfied and I'm glad I got it, though I think my expectations in some regards were perhaps a bit too high for certain areas.
Oh, and I will, without doubt, never, EVER listen to the English dub of the soundtrack again... Japanese + Subtitles FTW! The english dub was so bad it was laughable at parts... It's funny, because a few of the English voice actors (Cloud for one) were terrific, but the ones that were bad, were TERRIBLE... :haha: |

First I got the divx (good quality actually) and then then dvdr with proper 5,1DD sound.
And now, finally I preordered it at play, so it should come by my mailbox tomorrow:D
and yes, there are heaps of extras on the second disk o_O |

Not too much, unfortunately. I was able to look through most of the stuff in about an hour and a half.
Still haven't watched the flick. :/ |
