Twice now I have had the most amazing night spent at home, chatting with my favorite group of people: TOTAs.
There are people in this group that are funnier, cuter, more intelligent, and more caring than friends I've known my whole life. Last night was so--er--this morning was so awesome that I had to write a pseudo-review about it. I'm way too wasted from lack of sleep to get into minute details but you know me--they will probably follow soon...
On Monday, Vertigo got me onto a web-based ICQ chat while DJ Ampz was spinning on one of the best sets I've heard, filled with amazing trance anthems on ETN.fm followed by RJ’s 2HP.ca. To be able to talk to TOTAs so clearly and quote lyrics and eDANCE along with the music was just an amazing experience.
Same thing happened tonight when DJ Celica and Dan (Playa_24/7) were doing the same. I almost eCHOKED Aaron to get me a copy of his playlist on CD...too bad he's a DJ and spins records...THAT SUX!!! ;) It was so funny how the night started with Jenn (magikb) and I chatting, then Dan joins us...then he sent me a URL to his music...I see Vertigo and a whole bunch of other TOTAs online on my MSN and start sending them the link, "You gotta hear this!" and soon I sent it to everyone on my list...then I saw this wicked tool on MSN to invite everyone in my "TOTAs" buddy group into the convo and BOOM there's like 10 people in there...some away some not...and then the list became huge, like 30 people at one point...and the jokes and fun flying around while DJ Celica spun for his hour and Dan continued after...it was hype!!! WinAmp RULEZ!!!!
THE POINT OF THIS THREAD:
I did a search to see if there were any threads where TOTAs would post that they're in some chat room or on MSN so that they could all start chatting at the same time but didn't see one. I'm thinking people could maybe use this thread for that.
I hope this doesn't become a comparison thread of diff chat programs (there is already one from 2003 about MSN vs. ICQ) but I wanted the spirit of this to be COMMUNITY...it was crazy how all these OTHER people were getting invited by the original invitees and I was adding new addys like a CRAZY man...it was so cool.
I HIGHLY recommend spending nights like these when you are home, bored, but I can tell you that this sort of thing is not to be compared with "boredom" it ranks up there as one of the fun things to do during the night. Procrastination RULEZ!!!!

P.S. Thank you, you two, for being there right from the beginning till the very end, from before the DJ started till the bouncers threw us out the door ;) and keeping the comedy level so high. I dedicate my ty-ass mood at work tomorrow--er in a few hours to YOU. I <3 TOTA.
