i read a magazine today that had some article on the whole thing. it said something about dave being stressed because he felt like he had to make every season better than the last and he felt pressured by it. I hope everything gets better for him, he's a cool ass dude. |
he IS cool and his standups are madd funny also...and u know, he could keep doing the same stuff cuz hes just a FUNNY ASS guy and i heard he is soo nice in person too. there has never been any dead spots during his shows at ALL. |

very true but, i dunno i guess i'd feel the same if i was in his position, if he made any little error they'd never let him forget it. too many people treat him like he's a god of comedy and he can't make mistakes or have off days or somethin but he's human and for a regular old joe he's been doin damn good with his show. |

This sucks biaaaach!
My fav sketch is the Real World mock. "oh no, I think I'll stay." And my 2nd fav is the Prince basketball one.
Let's hope he comes back soon anyway since I've seen every episode like 12 times already. |

| Season 1 DVD was the highest selling TV Show in history, its not easy to constantly live up to those standards. |

Personally I don't think he has to think like that, like he has to top every performance. He seems pretty down to earth and never thought he'd be someone to feel pressure. It should be just about having fun and being himself and letting the chips fall where they may.
I would imagine 50 million dollars adding pressure, although it would sure alleviate other stressful things in life. |

Lets take Jerry Seinfeld for example, his sitcom is one of the funniest and best ever created. And people always question him about why he cut it off so abruptly and his answer is, I wanted to go out at the top of my game. I didnt want to keep the show going and than have it go down the drain that way people think about, oh I remember when that show used to be really good.
Its incredibly difficult to live up to the standards that people expect from you. Dave is considered the funniest man in America, and its incredibly hard to constantly live up to that title. |
