It was a fairly small crowd and most of the people there were fairly knowledgable about Armin and his latest stuff. The way he played all night lended itself to playing that track. The sweeping synth had everyone smiling, even Armin, and it was great for the party.

+1, well said, u word my feelings ;)

I don't know about this tune. I like the Belgian Sensation Anthem [First & André - Widescreen] more than this one for sure.

this track is gash, armin must have been to busy and let a mate do it following instuctions or something.

It's not the greatest thing AvB has produced, but it's ok. I really wanna hear it live. I think it will be so much more powerful. I'm really digging the string/pad sound.

Okay, so I'll actually go on the defense of Armin :nervous:. It does sound quite similar to Souvenir de Chine, but in Armin's tune the melody differs at the end of it. Having said that, I'll do a quick little rant...

This just seems to be another attempt by Armin at trying to gain the number one spot. Tiësto's version of Adagio was huge amongst those who were new to Trance, and this is as if Armin is trying to be accepted by those same kids. The first time I heard a sample of this tune I figured that it was Tiësto, not Armin, who made it.

Oh, and one quick question... Where the hell is the bassline?

2/10

Kinda reminds me of his 24 Theme's remix. It's fairly good.

Armin ripped Tiesto for sure:eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
cant believe this... damn - armin become more bad from track to track:nervous:

lol, I like the last question...like I said, it seems to be missing a particular energy

Though, I must disagree with a 2/10...in my book, 2 out of 10 means complete e, and I think this track is better than that...though I would definitely agree, it's nothing special.

Still like it, however...

and how exactly does the track sounding like Adagio For Strings have anything to do with Tiesto?

you for real? everything about this has tiesto's remake splashed all over it & that's blatently what he was on about, the melody isn't similar at all :conf:

i'm really struggling to see how you managed to find more similarities to ferry's mix here

and yes its regardless

This tune is brillaint and very emotional...what version did Armin play @ Sensation? The part with violin seems to be slightly longer. Beautiful piece of trance combined with classical music.
Dire Straits
