My Little Dilema

So I just moved back to America and have my own apartment. I got a huge pulldown screen with projector for my entertainment system. I have no video game system though.
Im thinking of getting either a modded PS2 or a modded XBOX but I was thinking: should I even get one if PS3 & XBOX 360 are coming out soon. So what do you think I should do: Buy either a PS2 or XBOX or just wait very very paitiently for the PS3 XBOX 360?? |

| Buy a used, modded PS2 for now. That'll last you till the 360's release in November. Unfortunately, PS3 might be released next year. |

Hmm will do that. Do those slim PS2s have the hard drive capability? |

Not that I know off. The PS2 HD just won't work with the PSTwo. |

true-- but, for me at least, there is something undeniable about console gaming and the feeling that accompanies it.
either way-- back to the topic-- i think you have your choice to pick: the modded ps2 or modded xbox
or, you could take advantage of your projector and wait for the high definition consoles (not completely sure about ps3's HD), but xbox360 will have it for sure. |

If you can get a premodded xbox for fairly cheap then do that. You can play almost any system except for N64, DC and PS2. Plus you can watch almost any type of movie file, etc.
Otherwise just buy a dreamcast for like 20 bucks, download some games and bam you're set so now you can save your cash for an xbox360 :D |

| With the PS2 Hard drive can you put in any PC hard drive. So far I can only find the 40 gb hard drive for the PS2. |
