I am new to writing trance but thught I would give it a go, but I am having some trouble with an element I hear alot in a trance tracks an example is Demza - Darkest Hour which he uploaded to the amateur production forum.

I am trying to recreate the bubbling arp sound before at the start of the main breakdown but have no idea of the quantize or how to what to do. Any help greatly appreciated. :conf:

I got a similar sound to the one I think you mean using Oddity.

Have a listen to the bubbley sound in this and let me know if it's what your after. If so I'll let you know how I got it.

Sounds like what he's done is taken that saw lead you hear after the break, and lowered the cutoff on the lowpass, then removed all the sustain and lowered the decay of the amp envelope. The rest is just the melody he thought up that leads to that bubbly arp feel.

edit: oh, and lots of delay.
