looks like all the other venues in nyc better step up...esp. the new venue to open in the place of the Old Sound Factory.
hmm hope that tiesto date isnt june 17 |

| From what I heard, the residence of Sound Factory was pretty huge, so I think it might be able to accomodate the crowd. The most important thing is that they get the right DJ's to resident there. JP spinning there would be a big mistake and would just turn that place into what it was. They should nab Morillo to resident once a month, hes here that often anyway, might as well give him a home. |

in last decembers mixmag tiesto said he was planning to do a concert in nyc and in england to take it on a world tour
then i heard somewhere else that hes gonna take tic on the road in 2006
i agree nyc could not get 25,000 people into a stadium to hear tiesto
the most they could do is central park and thats like 5 thousand i think
but still that would be great if they did it outdoors an 8 hour set, live acts, big huge stage etc etc like you see on the dvd |
100% correct......at least not for one act....even if it was Tiesto. They would need every big name dj in the world to pull off 25,000 people. That's the only reason Ultra Fest does so well. There are also those massives in Cali that bring in over 100,000 people.....but again there are tons of dj's. |

if tiesto was smart he would do a tiesto in concert during the wmc
i think he could pull it off down there when everyone and their mother is there
as for factory i heard its gonna open in sept and cater to a more house crowd |

Hahaha, Tijs does it at Space. We are talking about TIESTO in Concert. this is totally different. Looks like you haven't seen DVDs yet. |

Remember what the Ultra Mainstage looked like during Tiesto and PvD? Well thats what TIC looks like, except its a one man show for hours. |

I don't know myself but it looks like it won't be enough. But as i said - USA are not ready for a big solo gig.
There was an article about Central park and it's capacity and events that took place on the great lawn. Dave Matthews band got together 75 000 people in one night. But this is DM, no just a Dj :sadgreen: |
