I finaly scored a set at a radio station:D
i've never mixed for a radio station
so i have a question?
They want me to mix commercial trance and if i'm good i may get a monthly set anywayz

Can i layer a few accapelas on the tracks?

this is the track list and it's open for changes:
Dj tiesto - Lethal industry
Dj tiesto - Summer calling
R. Katana - In silence
Yahel - Voyage
Backlawiz - Sweet memories
Yahel - Israel dreams
Dj micro - Supernova
Airscape - Sosei
Yahel - Intelligent life
Sounds of - Global playboys
Tomcraft - Lonelines (Benny B remix)
Ferry co. - Rock your body rock

There can't be anymore commercial than this :conf: or can there lol
Zild
No man thats commercial as hell but I'd still be able to listen to it so you seem to be on the right track.
Soliman
Lol i'm just waiting to get my foot in then i'll play wtf i want

Anyways:

Can i layer a few accapelas on the tracks?
Zild
Yes you can. Just keep in mind the accapella has to be properly phrase and beatmatched for it to sound right just like anything else.

ad if ur mixing big singing a capellas, id make sure they are in key.

no one wants a trance diva whos out of key...
Zild
yeah thats another good idea you have to keep the vocals in key
dinoXpress
i dont really mix big diva a capellas myself, im more of a funky scracth sample type guy, but i know if i heard some huge a cappella out of key, id be like :wtf:
