most modern motherboards now flash a bios thro windows. no more dodgy floppies. checkout ur mobo manufacture and see if it has a windows applet. then u just click update, it locates ur mobo, locates the bios and does it all automatically.
i know u can do it with a usb-key, but unsure if u can from a cdrom. |

People who don't read owners manuals among the most hated customers in the tech support business. I used to be around that a lot and 99% of the problems were solved by reading back the owners manual to the ignorant customers who shouldn't even deserve to be anywhere near an electrical device let alone an electric plug. |
