Ron-E has been pounding dance floors across the Southern US for years with his progressive style incorporating hard-edged trance, UK hardhouse, and a touch of breaks.
Ron-E previously released six CDs selling thousands of copies that have been heard around the world. The latest three releases outsold all other trance mixed CDs in major Texas stores during the first months of their release date. His newest release, Intensity Rising, is licensed through E-Pro Recordings, and set for national distribution this year. The CD sets a new standard of creativity and is officially the first mixed on a tri-fader system. He meticulously chose a variety of mixing styles to record the compilation and based his track selection on nine years of crowd response to the trance and harder edged genres. Pre-releases of the CD have already gained international attention with reviews pouring in weekly. Marketing for the release includes a ten thousand CD sampler nationwide distribution and a six-month PR campaign with airplay by the college radio circuit, major mixed shows, XM radio, and Digitally Imported.
Ron-E’s reputation has earned him back to back timeslots on main stage with most of the world’s top producers and DJs including Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, George Acosta, Bassbin Twins, Spacemen, Robert Miles, Jurassic-5, Juan Atkins, Nigel Richards, Simply Jeff, Kosheen, and dozens more.
Recognized as the worlds premier triple crossfader DJ, Ron-E is at the forefront of hi-nrg mixing technique. His latest release, Intensity Rising, has been marked as the worlds first CD mixed on a tri-fader system yielding a new level of sonic depth and creativity. The 80-minute CD pushes the limit of energy with 19 tracks as Ron-E meticulously chooses a variety of mixing styles to record the compilation. Intensity Rising contains only the highest quality of material from a variety of powerhouse labels such as Nukleuz, Tidy, and Ministry of Sound Imprint, Data. The overall mix is based on crowd responses Ron-E received during live sets throughout the United States over the past five years. A State of Matter. The title to Ron-E¹s new triple CD set coming out this summer describes the flow of music both in the set and on stage. As his live selection reflects, each disc represents one of his choice genres ranging from epic and melodic trance to the furious hard edge and hard house. The first release, Liquid,arrives with us on May 21st. The title fuses melody with hard edge rhythm under precise control with his signature mixer, the Infader. Always adamant about focusing on mix technique as well as track selection, Ron-E follows up the ground-breaking release Intensity Rising with unflinching accuracy. The remaining discs in the set, Solid and Vapor, are due out in June and August respectively. Solid promises to deliver a fierce selection of floor stormers in the hard trance and hard house arena. Vapor will be released in DVD-A and multi-CD format for an uninterrupted two and a half hour melodic trance journey.
Visuals:
Providing large-scale video production for events like Zen and Transcape, E-Pro Studios bring out three large outdoor screens for this show. Custom animation, an infrared camera mounted on the mixer, live trigging via MIDI, and unique VJ interaction have all propelled this visual team as one the most respected in the South.
