I dunno if strictly exists a genre called prog. techno but some tunes have this tipically proggy melody with a fast techno bassline. I'd classify these songs, such more stuff from Jericho, Underwater even from Highland Beats (limited), as prog. techno. Other ppl would say it's just melodic techno.. but then we can say also melodic house instead of prog. house.

Example: Mr. Sliff - The riff

prog melody? what the is that? having a melody doesn't make it progressive.

i just classify that as good music.

what is a proggy melody and a techno bassline? what are you talking about? "prog" isn't defined by its unique melody, and techno isn't defined by a unique bassline......

Closest I've heard to such a thing is Float - Preperation, by Jamez. Techy progressive, at the least.

David Alvarado - Unspoken. Some kind of detroit techno and progressive tribal house in the same package, but I can't say it is progressive techno. It's progressive :)

Progressive techno is one of my favorite gendres.

The best example of it that I can think of is Alex Dolby- Psycho Garden
