Ditto. Not feeling the Sunday thing. Maybe I'll take off work on Monday. Tiesto was really good the last time he was at Crobar he was amazing. |

ISOS 4 and live sets aren't one in the same. Did he ever play most of the songs from ISOS 1, 2, 3 live? No
The point of the album was to maintain the tradition of chilled trance on the beach, not to make his typical bangin stuff.

if you have time - check his last tracklists. Tiesto just finished his tour in Holland and all the parties were very much a-la ISOS style. I dont know what he is gonna play in NYC (as well as in the US because i'll be going to a few gigs) but we'll see.
His last gig at Crobar was OK, i like him soft though. But this is me...
and Mike, you can say whatever you want, as long as it has to do with music and not with another drunk chick ing Tijs :haha:

Thanks for all that anal retentive research but I'm was mainly going on about that ISOS wasn't just another Tiesto comp mix, it was keeping in line with the more chilled sounds of the previous ISOS series. So why would anyone be buying the mix and thinking it was gonna be harder like his live mixes of recent year? That's all I was questioning....
He may have spun the songs but the chilled style found on those mixes wasn't what you would TYPICALLY get from Tiesto years past in live sets. I went to many Tiesto events back in 01-02 and remember. They are there but it's not chilled through the night. I should have been more specific and misspoke a little.
Yes, I have Tiesto live in Disneyland and was at Crobar I know he spins a lot of the ISOS 4 songs but wouldn't he be spinning MORE of those songs because he's releasing this album?
All I was saying was that I got ISOS knowing it was gonna be chilled (that's why I like it so much). That's all... GEEZ!! |
