| i know this is newbie question, do u know what kind a software i can use to record my bass guitar from line in, currently i got tascam us-122, i know we can do that with cubase but i cant affrod it, im using reason 3 which, doesnt have recording features. and one more things any suggestion what kind of mic i should use to record from an aucoustic guitar, thank u for the reply :) |

| assuming you have a pc, you could try Sound Forge, Cool Edit, or even Kristal (free). |

for recording acoustic guitar is best any of the better microphones combined with a pickup
then u use a splitter so u can record from mic to left and from pickup to right channel :-)
that makes pretty much the best sound I've ever heard ;)
the more expensive condenser mikes are quite a good thing...but I cant tell you any exact type though...

| you can get a line6 pod and record directly into your comp via usb... |

| And even if you can't afford any of the above programs and have a lowzy internet connection so you can't download a free one, you could use Windows own sound recorder. If you have windows that is :) |
