Right ive decided that the best way to get myself into proper mixing (i.e. not on the computer) is to get some CD decks as i dont have enuff money to get TT and constantly buy vinyl. So after looking around i'm thinking of getting :
Numark CDN-18 (£300) Twin CD Deck
Gemini PMX140 (£110) Mixer
IXOS Ministry of Sound 1004 (£40) Headphones
OR
Stanton DJ-Pro 60 (£40) Headphones
The CD deck basically because its cheap and thats all i can stretch to plus they play CDr's. The mixer because for the cheap price it has a lot of features (although i know that means the quality of the features will suffer) switch kills, rotary kills, gains, hamster switch and punch buttons. And either the headphones because i like the look of them and have been told they work well.
Are these choices right considering the price ranges?
