I don't know where to post this thread, so I just started it here :p :
I want to know where your artist name is from?
Is it your regular name? Your nickname? Can you tell a story?
My artist name is a different to my regular name.
I was searching for a good artist name - it's really hard to find a good one!
One day I played cards with my little sister. It was a card-game about trucks, powerfull trucs, you know?
I noticed that the strongest truc was called "Lancaster" - really u.n.b.e.a.t.a.b.l.e. ! And I thought: "Hey, that name sounds good and powerful - just like my music! :D "
That's the way how I got my artist name :cool:

| Yes i had the same trouble its EXTREMELY hard to figure out a good and effective artist name. Mine is Escada, no not becasue of the cologne brand its a personal and private reason that reminds me of an event and date. Thats basically what music is about, not about making the outside world like it but its what it means to you. You make music for yourself and what you feel goes into it. Thats what my name is about its a date taht changed me forever and thats why i have it. |

Mine is Signal becuase im a true ham radio/cb radio head.I spend alotta time on radio and talk all over the world and thats the handle i use on the radio

I was once known as Frequency 9 becuase that was the channel i talked on 9.
But now its just plain Signal i love being able to communicate around the globe.I know theres such things as chatrooms but i like to try to connect in the radio way its a challenge becuase u have to utilize the skip which only happens certain times of the day and bassically your signal bounces off clouds and gets sent 1000's of miles its really cool. |

Ive called my self Socio Camp. Socio...as in Sociopath, because Im a bit of a bedroom producer (understatement of the century). and i combined part of my last name (Campbell), so its like Socio Camp...like a campground of sociopa...
i know its stupid but i liked it, and it just popped into my head. fate, i tell you, fate! :happy2: |

My Dark Trance / Epic Trance alter ego is Paulo Der Munoz.
Paulo is my real name.
Der in german means "the"
Munoz is my last name without the "ñ" .
Then for Hardstyle (which most of the time I have failed making a good sounding hard trance track), Tyrant EX, sounds agressive and powerful like hard style tracks.
And for progressive house and Proggy Trance, Gunthareiks.
Gunthareiks means God of War in Gothic Language.
