so you love oakey......I'm glad for you.......I still go see him when he comes to town...................bad days......more than a lot of other DJ's (mood wise)...........I'm saying that walking around with a t-shirt with a dj's name on it is pretty fukin lame......especially when the dj is the most known of them all......yeah....and you come off like you know everything ........well if you knew anything about the true trance vibe.....which oakey has used to get where he is.........(he may not play trance the whole set) but that's the wave he rode from europe to here.......you'd know that he doesn't have it anymore....you been to tiesto...or AVB? I'm not saying I know everything but I'm saying......the music....is an experience the dj shares with the crowd......not owns............and I don't pray to DJ"s........or want to have their babies..(I'm a guy anyways).......I don't even care for autographs..........I care about the vibe they put out in conjunction to the musak.........

anyways......ABT........your a nice little addition to oakenfolds menagerie.........(smile when he pulls out his digicam to film you)....

whoa whoa slow down d00d, no need to be a complete dick about it. I was not attacking you or your opinions. I was stating mine. It gets harder and harder to state your opinions every day on this damn site. You want to mud-sling and start calling me oakey's "monkey boy" and join oakey's "menagerie"?????? WTF? Who the hell do you think you are? I am by no means a huge oakey fan. I just am sick of how people bash him for no reason - USUALLY people that haven't seen him live. And i'm really sick of people that aren't even IN america to start talking trash about what he is DOING in america.
And you say i come off like i know everything? pffft. yeah, ok buck-o. I stated my opinion just as you did yours. I could just as easily state that YOU act like you know everything. what does that accomplish? nothing. so drop the BS, man. yes i have seen AvB and Tiesto - and to be honest, Oakenfold was a LOT more involved with the crowd than those two were. yeah they all smile and wave and ..... but oakenfold was the only one that was actually DANCING with other clubgoers - actually came out of the booth. so thats my f#cking opinion. you know what? i don't go around trash-talking Tiesto and AvB like you and everyone else does Oakenfold - because I have the intelligence to realize that maybe, JUST Maybe that DJ was having a bad night! I'm not going to hold it against them. I agree with you that half the of experience of seeing a DJ is the VIBE, but as i mentioned before, the VIBE at all the oakenfold events i saw was great. If you have a problem with that, fine. Show me pictures of you there AT the events i was and tell me that it sucked, THEN i'll love to hear what you have to say.
But just because you've seen Oakey (maybe) once and you didn't like it because you had a negative outlook before you went out that night, don't hold it against him..... and if you guys hate him so much, then STOP GOING TO SEE HIM.
And Taha, i was not saying that i agree with that reasoning as to not like oakey. in fact, i think anyone that thinks that FOR that reason is a big f@cking idiot. Not liking someone because someone else has heard of him? what kind of logic is that? Are you going to HATE PvD because some other guy out there has heard of him? Doesn't make sense- you should be listening to it for the sound, track selection, or vibe you get from hearing it. That's why i listen to trance. I don't give a sh!t what anyone else thinks about what i listen to. I'm not going to let others make my decisions for me on what to listen to.
We need less pansies on these boards and more people that aren't afraid to say what they honestly feel instead of just posting what everyone else posts to jump on the bandwagon.
