Important processes on the computer?

what are the processes you have to leave running for minimal operation of windows.
i downloaded some nasty program and everytime i try to delete it is says it's in use and i can't delete it.
my computer went down to a crawl. |

it's wasn't spyware.
adaware wasn't picking it up.
it just kept on trying to open itself.
i was finally able to delete it. |

get moveonboot (google for that) allows you to select files to be deleted before windows fully starts. (after a reboot)

actually, you can kill and restart that at will. |

Yep, and you can remove it and change it to a different shell if you wish, such as PROGMAN.EXE. |
