this thread is turning into tvt

would sure be nice to know the venue more then one or two days ahead of time.

and if anyone wants a copy of t4, just come talk to me, ill be the one going around filming

cheers
sugardevill
You should be more specific cuz at T4.1 there was like 3 people for sure
filming the party, and your filming is more of just the dj's spinning- which is fine,
but i think some people want the crowd antics, more to look back and laugh at themselves and their friends, etc:disbelief
makija
couldnt agree more with you hehe

!!Lost in bass is TOMORROW!!
274 Sherbrook Street
600 Person Limited Capacity
Ticket holders garaunteed admission

A message from us to you:

The original capacity for the event was much higher however this is a back-up venue basically. We had a contract signed with Wheelies Roller Rink to have the party there for sometime now. Today shortly after 1pm we were informed by an employee of Wheelies that the owner will not allow the show there due to complaints made forth to the city.

This party was going to have to be postponed until Stephen Hua of Soundwavehelped us get this back up venue which in my opinion should work out nicely. We're bringing in a whole new sound system for both floors plus we have so many decorations this party is going to look and sound amazing.

Trust me there is no one more disappointed than myself... Shows at Wheelies were among the most legendary in the city and we wanted to share that space with many of the new party people. We're still trying to figure out exactly what happened with the city, venue and owner and when we do we'll post a full report on this website.

Thanks again for everyone's understanding and to Stephen for helping us to make sure there will still be a party tomorrow! D:Fuse and Tom Baker are still playing and everything else is going according to plan. It's just that instead of a 800 person roller rink we have a 600 capacity multi-level club and we can turn the sound WAY up!

d:fuse was awesome, the way he incorporated his drum kit into his set really amazed me, he was playing with the 'latin bongos' from what i saw. his mixing was spot on except for a couple transitions, but those werent very noticable. track selection was awesome, i think i only id'd a couple tracks.

tom baker was just as good, he was really into his set which was cool to see. he played some really good techno, nice hard beats :)
the first track he played was visitor - ? ... awesome track!

the battle room was a decent set up, just too en hot! pretty dark near the booth too, was hard to take decent pics without a flash.

alucard was really good! he was supposed to play against freaky alien, i guess he didnt show up :D even though he had to close off the party, he did a hell of a job doing it. mixing was a little dodgy at times, nothing like his mixing was at t4 though, maybe he was too drunk near the end or something. he did a nice job of building his set, started off with some nice techy breaks for the first 20 minutes or so, then near the end he was playing tracks like rank 1 - breathing, way out west - mindcircus? (gabriel & dresden remix), etc. track selection was really good, awesome job on making a nice flow from disco kitty and cant remember the name...

i think alucard even had more people asking him for an autograph then d:fuse from what i noticed :haha: just goes to show that he deserved a much much better time slot! opening for dfuse for would have been more ideal.

ty set up in the main room though, wish the booth was closer to the crowd, and not all covered by speakers. sound was really good though! better lighting would have been nice, especially near the booth for both, the mainroom, and battle room.

and $35 for cover? thats ed. vf5 tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door... stephen told me that he's going to have the same venue for vf5, im sure the set up will be much better too!

ill probably get started on the video this weekend, and the pics should be up sometime by the end of the week

overall, good event, with lots of good moments
