| cant they do something WITHOUT lying to people, were they so itchy to get ppl to come they hadda overanticipate the SP booking... i probably would have gone for justttt ATB but they hadda go lie about SP and that just turns me off.... im giving them a THIRD chance next month for Kai Tracid, so they better make that one count. |

Hi Alyssa,
Scot Project will *not* be making it to the Webster Hall gig.
This is due to reasons beyond my control.
I don't know anything about an Avalon gig on July 22, but Scot
will make this up in future date in New York.

Im writing from NYC and am a huge fan of Dj Scot Project. I
heard he was coming to NYC to play at Webster Hall May 29th along
with ATB, in an event called Fahrenheit 2.0. Then I checked on
other sites, including Scot Project's official website and it has
him scheduled to play Gatecrasher, in the UK.
I wanted to make sure where Scot Project was going to be before
i decide to buy tickets. Also i heard he may be playing Avalon
July 22. Any truth to this? A reply woudl be greatly
appreciated. I know of ppl in NYC that WOULD go to Webster Hall's event
JUST to hear Scot Project.

Now I am not sure about anyone but if I am correct in my geography THERE IS NO WAY A PERSON CAN MAKE IT TO TWO GIGS ACROSS THE OCEAN IN ONE NIGHT!!!!
Scot Project is playing Gatecrashe in UK and DEFINATELY will not be in NYC.
Webster Hall BLOWS!!!!!
Lets see what Kai Tracid situation will be like. |

Well, I hate to say this but we're a week away from the gig and there's still no contract or deposit from the promoter despite my agents repeated attempts to contact them so I've pulled the plug on this gig.
I've been around for way too long and dealt with too many dodgy parties to walk into them any more. The best thing I can do is give my fans ample enough warning i won't be there and so I have to make this decision now rather than next week just before I'm to leave. I know how dedicated my fans can be and how far they'll travel to come see me so they are my first priority. I don't want to waste their time and energy and money.
I was looking forward to visiting nyc and Robin & Gavin were going to come with me and spend a few days, so that will have to wait for another time. " |

wow, i found this interesting... this is taken from another forum, its a statement from none other than the main promoter of this party Richie Neale... little did he know but a representative from WH would answer him back........
RICHIE: "OK JUST TO LET EVERYONE NO THE REAL DEAL and not to listen to the haters i didn't put 1 dollar towards this party ..i was hired by webster hall to put together a lineup and promote an event so i did,, a great one at that...webster hall thinks they can wait till the last minute to paypeople caue there " webster hall" so some back out, thinking there not getting paid ..others get double booked and don't want nothing to do with websterhall because they have a strip show and get but naked...it bothered scot so much he didnt want to play the gig and hes a personal frined of mine and was the first person i booked and got paid in full...i gave all these contracts in 4 months ago and yes still some havent been paid ..all the major headliners did get paid awhile ago i will say that...im also done working with webster hall after this event...and i will make this up by throwing a free party at the all new downtime coming this summer... wich im using my own money to throw... for all the luva's we got the new hot spot in nyc coming at you with new party's every month... with an all new flavor for the new melennium raver "hahah it aint safe no more""

WH REPRESENTATIVE: "For the record Webster Hall would never hire you. Webster Hall does not use promoters. They let you play on Friday's because they were trying to help you. Did you once get paid by them? I dont think so. This is a holiday weekend and you said you had a party booked with alot of DJ's and you did not have the money to pay for them and would Webster Hall bail you out.
Because you were once a Neighbor and in need, out of the kindness of their heart they agreed to help you out to the tune of $30,000.. So you went ahead and designed an invite without anyone at Webster Hall approving it that had 20 DJ's on it.
Then when they saw it they said that were willing to help you out and pay for the the three headliners Which were ATB, Scot Project, and Slick Rick which were $30,000. All three of these people were paid in March when contracts were submitted.
Then all of a sudden Webster Hall was starting to see all these other contracts get submitted from you as late as two weeks ago with you saying if they were not paid tomorrow they will drop out.
Well Webster Hall agreed to pay for the headliners and they did. They are sorry that you are not strong enough to hold together a party but Webster Hall did what they said and will still have the most Rockin party in NYC on Sunday. Richie Neale You ought to learn not to bite the hand that feeds you. But you are done, and for the record you will not be throwing parties at Downtime because Webster Hall owns that as well." |
