June 4 - Markus Schulz in San Francisco!!! (pg. 4)

There's no stage at the Mezzanine....well, dunno how the new DJ booth is, but yeah...probably no stage still.
Ruby Skye is the one with the stage. You pretty much have to be associated or friends with the promoter to get up there. Usually a couple security dudes looking out.
Ten15 has the best DJ booth I've ever seen, period, but I dunno the peeps running the DJs anymore. Tonight will be my first time there since their booking manager change. Yeah, it's almost 12:30am and I'm still at home. About to leav ein like 5 minutes. J00F is playing 6 HOURS, so not like I've missed THAT much, lol.
If you want to meet Markus, takes pics, etc, during the night...let me look into the freedom I'll have. For all I know, I might end up being the one making sure he's fine throughout the night. And if Markus comes in and says pics whenever are cool, then cool. When Markus played here in December, he straight up said he liked chaos in the booth area, so you never know.

| Ok you talked me into it. Plus it be cool to make an LATA connection too. I know I won't be able to get that Saturday off but I probably could exchange it for an early shift and be off at 9 and get there at 11. So alright, let's do this. |

1. Again, I dunno how the new DJ setup is at Mezzanine...but if it's anything like how the old one typically was, there is pretty much no booth. You literally walk up a couple of steps and there's the decks. Not really meant for anyone other than the DJs to be in there. The person hosting the DJ was usually stuck on the steps.
There were setups a few times where the booth area was bigger...like when HUGE DJs would play, to make sure there's enough room for security and their posse to hang out.
But again, I dunno how the new setup is. Nevertheless, this is Markus we are talking about...he always gets there a bit early and chats and takes pics and stuff. There will be plenty of time to take pics with him, I am sure.
2. I dunno how the hosting will be setup for the night yet. I'm not a host for Spundae, so I never make the booth rules. I might end up looking over the booth or not...but I dunno.
3. Please bring all your friends. A good turnout is so essential for this night, you don't understand! I want Markus to play in SF often, so good crowds are a must! |

mezzanine is probably my favorite SF venue alongside mighty...the staff, location, and atmosphere is really great.....i always have fun there....
can't wait
