OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada's minority Liberal government easily won a vote on its main budget bill on Thursday night, as expected, with the support of the opposition Conservatives.
A second more closely watched bill, which the Conservatives oppose, was to follow immediately. If it fails, the government will fall and there will be a new federal election.
