Eh... I wasn't to crazy about Fluid to be honest. I mean it seems like an alright place to just hang out if there really isn't anything else to do but I wouldn't ever recommend the place to anyone. EC, although I have yet to experience it as a club, seems nice. I was there this Sunday to watch my friends brothers band play and the size of the rooms and setup of the place was nice. Like you said though, Highmay, it is what you make of it.

youre not crazy about Fluid because you dont understand the difference between a vibe and a spectacle...it's obvious inexperience speaking when youre picking Emerald City (a club you yourself stated that youve never truly experienced) over Fluid...im not insulting you because im trying to help you...all im saying is that when you finally get it, you'll understand...

LOL please tell us where we can sign up for your EDM Intelligence class. No really....I think everybody will benefit from it. Then we all can think like you, talk like you, have the same tastes as you...and this board will be filled with boring minded people that think they know everything. Do you ever consider taking other peoples personal preferences into consideration??? Or do you just automatically think everybody is a ing moron because they don't see things your way??? Give me a ing break dude.

again, im not trying to be insulting in any way...what im saying is that there's a difference between vibe and spectacle...fluid = vibe, EC = spectacle...those who prefer vibe with good music over spectacle with so-so music seem to gain a much more fulfilling personal experience...one can only take big , big asses, big lights, big drinks, and big bouncers until they need something more...then, it's on to something more deep, more fulfilling...come to think of it, i SHOULD teach an EDM Intelligence Class...

Ive gotta agree with Highmay here. Fluid is better then EC in every aspect. People from Philly know my stance with EC. To say I dont like it there would be an understatement. Its part of this Philly mentality that thinks if they charge extremely high prices, people will think its a classy place and go there. Then you get inside and see that the wall is painted in the style of a van from the 70s. I guess planets and flames are cool, but who am I.

I will however be there for Ferry. Mike is the best thing to happen to Philly promotion wise in a long time, and I trust him to make this at least tolerable. I suggest shock collars on the door staff, and hiring an outside security staff to police the bouncers that work there.

Sorry for the rant, Goooo Dayquill.

Brian u should come down for this one...u know u miss PA :haha:

I am seeing the pattern here...I move from NY to philly, and philly gets more and more big dj's (sasha, ferry)...

ok now for my next wish...i want jenna jameson to be all over me tonight!
